Expert Thinking, a UK-based cloud, data and AI consultancy, has long been working towards a more sustainable future. Now, the company is proud to announce that its support for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals has been recognised by Support the Goals.
The UN Sustainable Development Goals – also known as the Global Goals or SDGs – are a plan to end poverty, extreme inequality, and climate change by 2030, agreed by 193 world leaders. Seven years in, we’ve reached the halfway mark of the SDGs, and only 17% of the goals on track. Businesses and the private sector must get behind the goals, to make the world a better place.
Expert Thinking has been awarded five stars by Support the Goals. Stars are awarded when businesses publicly share targets and actions on net zero, biodiversity, waste, gender equality and living wage.
Expert Thinking has been working to make an impact across several goals. In recent months it has committed to fair pay and working toward formal Living Wage accreditation, actively promoting women in tech through school outreach and inclusive hiring and minimising digital and physical waste through circular economy principles and responsible IT asset disposal.
